About Exhibition
ShugoArts is planning a group show featuring the 14 artists listed below, with the title ShugoArts Show: From the 1980s to the 2010s.
As the subtitle indicates, this exhibition will feature, all in one venue, art spanning the decades from Shigeo Toya’s 1986 Something There, which explored a new formalism in sculpture after the materialism of 1970s Mono-ha, through Yoriko Takabatake’s new 2017 work opening up new possibilities in painting.
